ABSTRACT – Project Eureka 217/ 2020, ended 2023
The Eureka 217/2020 project, INSAC-AGRIS, aimed to build an integrated autonomous system and a service for collecting and analyzing agricultural data, with an impact on the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture. The project achieved its objectives by developing a system that integrates remote sensing, soil and plant analysis, and input management.
This system has been successfully implemented in experimental crops in Romania and Hungary, covering crops such as wheat, rapeseed, green peas, maize and sunflower. The results were achieved in line with objectives, providing farmers with better supervision of plants and facilitating informed decision-making.
The project stood out through extensive dissemination of results, including scientific publications, dissemination events and an interactive web platform. The collaborations with Hungarian partners have brought a broad perspective on agriculture in the Black Sea area.
INSAC-AGRIS represents an important transition from traditional agriculture to Agriculture 4.0, bringing a scientific approach to agricultural decision-making. Key achievements include streamlining agricultural processes, increasing sustainability and supporting economic performance in agriculture. The project has successfully achieved its objectives and promises a revolution in precision agriculture.
Inovația reprezentată de “Sistemul Integrat pentru Controlul Automatizat al Terenurilor Agricole Experimentale” (INSAC-AGRIS) aduce o paradigmă revoluționară în agricultura de precizie. Sistemul integrează teledetecția, analiza integrată și monitorizarea multidimensională a culturilor agricole. Acesta se distinge prin analiza precisă a caracteristicilor plantelor, populației plantelor, nivelului de îmburuienare și sănătății solului, fiind un sistem semiautonom integrat, abordând direct fermierii mici și mijlocii prin soluții tehnice accesibile ca și costuri. Evitând prelucrarea laborioasă a bazelor de date, acest sistem asigură costuri minime de exploatare și acces ușor. Prin funcționalități precum monitorizarea la sol și în aer, analiza nutrienților din sol și generarea hărților de monitorizare, INSAC-AGRIS facilitează un management precis al culturilor.
